Mango Six

Bila sesuatu viral di FB, maka keinginan untuk mencuba sudah pasti ada. Dan akhirnya kami sampai ke sini...hahhaha.  Tak dapat try Mango Six kat Korea, kat Puchong pun jadilah ya....As usual, The 6 Hardcore Ladies menerjah Mango Six (walau tak cukup korum). Lain kali kita pergi togeder geder ye Airin, Shieda and Along. Hari ni ai bersama Dahlia dan Nurul jer..hhehehhe...

Sedap ker.....hmmm..it depends on tekak masing masing. Kami mencuba yang mango base. Tak manis sangat, tapi creamy. Bila lemak berkrim ni, di makan bersama mango yang sweet sour tu, just nice (pada saya la)

Saya suka TS Caramel Almond. Roti yang di salut karamel dan di bakar agaknyer..hahaha...wallhualam. Sbb keliling roti is bit crunchy.. And diletakkan whipping cream diatasnya disamping beberapa almond disekeliling semasa dihidangkan.. Memang amat creamy and not too sweet. Manakala Mango Baumkuchen pula adalah sejenis kek diletakkan bersama whipping cream, icecream dan hirisan mango. Waffle Mango juga dihidangkan bersama hirisan mango, ice cream dan whipping cream....hmmm...lemak berkrim...disukai ramai. 

Bukan semuanya mango base semata mata. Ada juga strawberry + mango, green apple, lemonade, berries dan juga kiwi. Cheese pun ada tu...hehhehhe.

Aroma Ikan Bakar Jeram

Adik bongsu mengajak kami adik beradik dan keluarga makan kat Aroma Ikan Bakar, Jeram. Ini kali ke2 saya makan di sini. Kalau ikut pilihan saya....Aroma Ikan Bakar Jeram bukan pilihan saya...hahahha. Since orang nak belanja kan...so ikut ajelah. Sejak ketiadaan abang yang ke2, ini adalah kali pertama untuk tahun 2017 kami adik beradik berkumpul makan makan diluar. Biasa berkumpul kat rumah je. Mana mana rumah tak kira rumah kakak, or abang. 

Dan kebetulan juga ramai pula yang dilahirkan pada bulan Januari. So, kami celebret besday sama sama. Abang pertama dan isteri (kakak ipar saya) mempunyai tarikh lahir yang sama iaitu pada 2 Januari. Abang ipar pula (suami kakak ke2) pada 1 Januari. Saya 5 Januari dan anak saya Haikal pada 3 Januari. So here we are.....

Seronok berkumpul ramai ramai begini. Walaupun tak semua dapat menghadirkan diri. Yang pasti, emak gembira melihat anak anak cucu cucu dan cicit dapat bersama sama selalu. Itu yang penting bagi kami. Melihat emak gembira....di kala meniti usia senja, emak dapat melihat ke akraban kami adik beradik. Walaupun kadang kadang, bercekau juga..hahhaha.

Bangi Wonderland Theme Park & Resort

31 Disember 2016 (Saturday)

Aktiviti akhir tahun bersama keluarga. Kami pergi ke Bangi Wonderland Theme Park & Resort ni pada hari Sabtu. Jam 10.00 pagi dah buka. Alhamdulillah tak ramai orang. Bayaran masuk ke theme park ni adalah RM58.00 untuk dewasa dan RM48.00 untuk kanak kanak. Didalam web di tulih bermula dari RM38.00. Jadi jangan tersilap pula ya. Kerana ada diskaun for senior citizen juga orang OKU. Kanak kanak di bawah 90 cm adalah percuma. Sebabnya semasa saya berbaris untuk membeli tiket, saya terdengar ada beberapa orang merungut. Dalam web tulih RM38.00. Sampai sini harga RM58.00 hehhehe. Strict juga disini ya. Sebab mereka akan check bag yang kita bawak. Just in case ada yang sorok makanan. Tapi setakat air mineral tu, lepas je (saya laaa). Saya suka theme park ni sebab:

  • Games tak banyak sangat. Tak sampai 10 tempat permainan.
  • Orang tak ramai. Tak perlu berebut rebut untuk naik mana mana games
  • Queue pun tak panjang. 
  • Boleh ulang banyak banyak banyak kali
  • Tempat berteduh banyak juga. Cukup untuk menampung para pengunjung. 
  • Berbaloi bayar sebab dapat main semua permainan yang ada. 
  • Sesuai untuk kanak kanak / remaja bawah 17 tahun. Yg lebih dari 17 tahun pun okay gak. Cuma maybe tak adventure sangat ler 
  • Tak perlu ber swimming suit bagai. Asalkan jangan pakai kain batik sudah lah yer..hehhehe
  • Kawasan tak luas sangat, so tak risau nak monitor anak anak. 
  • Ada food court kat dalam ni. So dun worri tentang makanan walaupun harga boleh tahan. 







Yang ni agak adventure sket kut. 
Tak ramai kan...silalah berkuak lentang bagai...hehhehe

DIY Souveniers From Japan for Friends

17hb Disember 2016, tamatlah sudah pengembaraan saya bersama 3 rakan yang lain ke Tokyo  & Hokkaido, Japan. Tp entry masih tertangguh ye...hahhaa. Banyak entry tertangguh. Semasa ke Jepun, currency yang saya dapat adalah 41.20. Fitam mak nak. So, nak beli souveniers untuk kengkawan jenuh berkira kira. And then saya dapat idea from Road To Japan fb. So...taddaaaaa.....Ni sajalah yang mampu. Yang penting ingatatan...kann...

Bahan bahan yang di perlukan adalah syiling 5 yen, straps dan juga bells warna warni (3 different sizes). Saya menggunakan dua straps. Since terbeli banyak sgt strap tu kan...so perabihkan je lah. Straps ngan bells tu semua saya beli kat Daiso.

1. We're the oldest girls' school in Ipoh!. The school was founded by Reverend W E Horley in 1895, the same years as he founded the Anglo-Chinese School (ACS) Ipoh.

2. We're commonly reffered as MGS

3. Cheeky friends would name our school as Monkey Girls' School or Monkey Gorilla School. 

4. Cottage was build in 1934 and used to be the residence of the principals from the early years. This is why it is now rumuored as haunted. 

5. Our sport house system was introduced in 1930 - Cavell, Nightingale, Crosby, Victoria.

( Me - Crosby or Blue. Cavell is Red, Nightingale is Yellow, Victoria is Green. Victoria selalu kalah. Cavell selalu fight dengan Crosby...hehheheh)

6. The school was closed down in 1941 for the Japanese Army. It was later re-opened in 1945 Oct 1st.

7. We're one of the school in Ipoh that wore pinafore according to our school official colour instead of the usual light blue. Maroon was our school colour. The uniform was later standardize to follow the light blue ones around 1970s.(No more maroon for the later generation)

**but the pengawas is still wearing maroon skirt hehhhehe (during my time 1982 - 1986)

8. Our canteen is like a mini food court. Ice creams, roti canai, nasi lemak, laksa, porridge, wan tan mee, chee cheong fun, nasi ayam, thosai, curry mee, tomyam noodles, fruits, mash potatoes, snacks, kacang puteh, roti bakar, even variety off thes. Of food heaven!

9. Student from 80s era would still see Mak Cik Yam our legendary canteen aunty if the re-visit the alma matter.

10. Our school canteen food is cheap! One cup of soya which is the same size as kopitiams, cost only 30 cents. Laksa for 1 ringgit.

11. Our school song is the same for both Primary and Secondary school. Only the last paragraph is removed for the secondary school. 

12. "Leave the banner, Wear it onwards" is what usually some students would sing instead of the right one "Lift the banner, Bear it onwards". Are you one of them?

13. Our school song would gradually be sung faster and faster if there isn't any music companion (Naught girls)

14. Our landmark that represents our school would definitely ve the RAINTREE that has stood for almost a century.

15. For those who joined Girls' Brigade, students for non-Methodist school would had trouble understanding what Uniform Body you've joined since it is only available in 3 schools in Ipoh. ACS, MGS and Wesley.

16. The best food we crave during sports day would be the curry fish balls!

17. We would cheer, laugh and scream hard if males teachers were choosed for certain events on stage. 

18. Our Monday assembly are at the badminton court with teachers sitting in a row along the classrom's corridor. You would see some sleeping if you look around.

19. Our school badge colour is simple which consist of only two colours. Maroon and White. 

20. We're the only school that doesn't need the cloth tag that needs to be ironed to the uniforms. We use name tags.

21. We're lucky to have a big green field.

22. Non-muslims students would sometimes to to the opposite Curry Mee shop to eat after school

23. We have kebun  angkat project but always don't attend. 

24. We share the school area between primary and secondary. So seeing sights of little primary girls running around our compound is completely normal. We sometimes even make friends with them. 

25. Racial isn't much of an issue here. We all mix together for 5 years (or more if you're from the same primary). This is one good thing. We learn about each other's culture and we know how to respect them.

26. Our school students are always well recognized for good English!. Be proud. OUR UTMOST FOR THE HIGHEST!.

Recently we made a trip to Ipoh to reminisce our moment while studying at MGS. We spent the time together for 2 days 1 night at one of the homestay in Ipoh (mini reunion gituk). But too bad, I was not in the picture, sbb kena balik KL awal..hehhehe...but a few of my friends got a chance to visit our old school. How I miss our 5 years at MGS.
