Mee Kicap Kuala Kangsar


Kuala Kangsar terkenal dengan laksanya. Laksa dan Kuala Kangsar begitu sinonim dan tak dapat dipisahkan. Begitu juga laksa dan saya, kerana laksa memang kegemaran saya. Kali ini mari kita mencuba Mee Kicap Kuala Kangsar pula. Menurut kata abang saya, susah nak cari mee kicap yang sedap. Di Ipoh ada satu kedai dan satu lagi di Kuala Kangsar. Restoran ini tidak mempunyai nama. Sekiranya anda ingin pergi ke kedai mee kicap ni, ianya berada di Jalan Daeng Selili menuju ke pejabat lhdn, sebelum traffic light ke jambatan baru menuju ke Sayong. Kedai ini bersebelahan dengan Pusat Servis kereta. Seberang jalan berhadapan terdapat sebuah masjid / surau / sekolah agama - ** sy tidak pasti. Ada ambil gambar, tp gambar tidak begitu jelas. 


Saya memilih mee wantan kicap

Sedap pada saya dan harga amat berpatutan (lupa braper..tp xle mahal beno). Juga disertakan dengan sup yang terdiri dari fish ball dan fish cake. Boleh membuat pilihan samada memilih mee wantan, mee kuning or kueteow. Di kedai ini juga ada makanan lain seperti mee kari, mee sup, wantan sup, kueteow dan juga nasi lemak.

Sekiranya singgah di Kuala Kangsar, boleh lah mencuba mee kicap.. Selain dari mencuba laksa Pokok Limau atau Laksa Pak Ngah.

Ducks quack, Eagles soar

This is not my writing. I got it somewhere in the facebook. But I would like to share it with you people. This is something good, and I want to be just like an eagle....

Ducks Quack, Eagles Soar

I was waiting in line for a ride at the airport. When a cab pulled up, the first thing I noticed was that the taxi was polished to a bright shine. Smartly dressed in a white shirt, black tie, and freshly pressed black slacks, the cab driver jumped out and rounded the car to open the back passenger door for me.

He handed me a laminated card and said: I'm Wasu, your driver. While I'm loading your bags in the trunk I'd like you to read my mission statement.

Taken aback, I read the card. It said: Wasu's Mission Statement: To get my customers to their destination in the quickest, safest and cheapest way possible in a friendly environment.

This blew me away. Especially when I noticed that the inside of the cab matched the outside. Spotlessly clean! As he slid behind the wheel, Wasu said, 'Would you like a cup of coffee? I have a thermos of regular and one of decaf. I said jokingly, No, I'd prefer a soft drink.

Wasu smiled and said, 'No problem. I have a cooler up front with regular and Diet Coke, lassi, water and orange juice.' Almost stuttering, I said, 'I'll take a Lassi.' Handing me my drink, Wasu said, 'If you'd like something to read, I have The Hindu, Times of India, ET and India Today.'

As they were pulling away, Wasu handed me another laminated card, 'These are the stations I get and the music they play, if you'd like to listen to the radio.'

And as if that weren't enough, Wasu told me that he had the air conditioning on and asked if the temperature was comfortable for him.

Then he advised me of the best route to my destination for that time of day. He also let me know that he'd be happy to chat and tell me about some of the sights or, if I preferred, to leave me with my own thoughts.

Tell me, Wasu,' I was amazed and asked him, 'have you always served customers like this? Wasu smiled into the rear view mirror. 'No, not always. In fact, it's only been in the last two years. My first five years driving, I spent most of my time complaining like all the rest of the cabbies do. Then I heard about power of choice one day.'

Power of choice is that you can be a duck or an eagle. If you get up in the morning expecting to have a bad day, you'll rarely disappoint yourself. Stop complaining!  Don't be a duck. Be an eagle. Ducks quack and complain. Eagles soar above the crowd. That hit me right,' said Wasu.

It is about me. I was always quacking and complaining, so I decided to change my attitude and become an eagle. I looked around at the other cabs and their drivers. The cabs were dirty, the drivers were unfriendly, and the customers were unhappy. So I decided to make some changes. I put in a few at a time. When my customers responded well, I did more.'

I take it that has paid off for you, I said. It sure has, Wasu replied. My first year as an eagle, I doubled my income from the previous year. This year I'll probably quadruple it. My customers call me for appointments on my cell phone or leave a message on it.

Wasu made a different choice. He decided to stop quacking like ducks and start soaring like eagles. Have an eagle Life ahead ..😀

Petrol

Saper penah kena. Dan biasanya bila korang isi minyak, korang ikut nilai duit atau ikut liter. Sejak dua menjak dpt email pasai isi minyak adalah lebih afdal ikut liter, saya memang mempraktikkannyer. Mende ni berlaku sebelum rege minyak naik kut...saya pun tak ingat. Tiba tiba jumpa balik resit ni. Memang saya akan isi ikut liter. Let say seliter is 1.95 maka saya akan isi 19.50 untuk 10 liter. Saya akan pergi kaunter, dan bayar 19.50 untuk 10 liter. If guna credit card, saya akan ckp pada pam attendant, isikan 10 liter sahaja (if nak 10 liter ler. If nak lebih, saya akan ckp lebih). Tp semuanya liter.  Bukan 10 hengget, 20 hengget or 30 hengget. If saya isi minyak kat stesen minyak Petronas, mmg tertera di situ, 10 liter 19.50.  Memang saya check tengok betul ke idak. Tp yg ni, 19.50 sen tp tak sampai 10 liter....acaner tu.....?????

Tak sempat nak tanya org kat petrol pump tu sbb masa ni saya rushing nak ke pejabat dengan cepat. Nampak mcm sikit...maybe pada setengah orang...ala...itupun nak kira.....braper titik sangat ler....tp kena kira gak kut ek...hahhaha...

Forgive And Forget


It is not always easy.......

Cause we all make mistakes sometimes
And we've all stepped across that line....

We are only human being...
Lets forgive and forget

Easy said than done huh.....

That was the phrase we usually use when we make mistakes and causing someone hurt. So many people say they forgive and yet keep bringing the same matter over and over again to their friends by saying - I still remember what you did to me.... 

Some people will say, I can forget but I cannot forgive you. The others will say I already forget about it and I forgive you. 

But to me, How can I forgive you if I cannot forget what you did to me. That is me. Just me. But eventually, I will forgive that person. Lambat laun, whenever I think about it and it doesn't hurt me anymore. So things will be back just the way we were before - dengan penuh harapan....

To all my friends - closed friend or casual friends - someday, somehow I will forgive you. Whenever I'm having hard time letting go of my anger and hurt from something you recently did, I will try to remember all the happy moments and memories that we have, all your kindness towards me and all nice thing that you did to me. Here, I would like to apologies to all of you - really sorry, truly sorry - if I hurt you, if I mengecikkan hati uols or uols terjauh hati dengan I or terkecik hati dengan I, whether intentionally or unintentionally, because it was my spontaneous reaction without realizing the consequences. And because u hurt me more....- ohhh bersihkan lah hati...jangan prasangka....

And forgive me if I keeping some distances from you  Maybe, it was difficult at that time for me to accept it...but eventually, I will.. 

Because I know,.....my heart is not like a rock. Just like an ice only. Slowly melting...(my own perumpamaan yer...hehehhheheh). One of my friends always says - positive thinking. Jangan prasangka. But I really would like to know...did she think like what she said.......

Happy Chinese New Year

Actually, this celebration memang buat tiap tiap tahun. Dan jadi satu tradisi di company kitaorang ni kut. Seawal jam 4 petang, mulalah berirama music Lion Dance. Kemudian diikuti dengan jamuan makan kepada para pekerja dan juga jemputan. Jemputan biasanya terdiri dari anak anak yatim dari badan badan kebajikan. Dan biasanya adalah para volunteer untuk melayan anak anak yatim ni. Akak idak ler...x lalu weii. Bila tengok anak2 yatim, kang ayaq mata mula bergenang genang kat ujung ujung mata. Takyah ler....hehehe..

Harith, Haziq, Haikal & Hakim

Anak dah ramai, tuala pun boleh tukar tukar tau. Pening makk...tiap kali nak lipat tuala, lupa dah tuala sapa.....mmg dari dulu dah start buat gini. Tuala pun dah asik bertukar ganti. Bukan takat tuala jer...pants pun harus ada tanda nama sbb sama sama tengah naik membesar. Ada yang kang main pakai sarung jer..



Hafiy punya pun ada gak....tp jarang sangat berganti. Sebab hafiy sangat lah cermat dengan penggunaan tualanya hehhee..
